Sales & Refund

Once an order has been placed with us, no cancellation will be allowed. Your deposit and payment is strictly non-refundable, except as set out in the terms below.

The sale of a product is subjected to availability and safe arrival in Singapore. We will inform you as soon as possible if the product you ordered becomes unavailable. In the event of unavailability, your payment or deposit will be entirely refunded to you free of interest.

Lead time are estimated and informed to the best interest of our customers. However, external factors such as shipping delays, freight adverse conditions, strikes, accidents are beyond our control and we cannot guarantee lead times. Orders may not be cancelled nor refunded due to late lead time delivery.

The representation and descriptive materials of our products are for illustrative purposes and may differ from actual product due to the natural characteristics of leather and stone materials. They may not be used as a reason for cancellation or refund.

Delivery, Assembly & Installation

Customer is required to clear any outstanding payment prior to arrangement of delivery.

Once the ordered item(s) have arrived in Singapore, our customer representative will call the customer to settle the balance payment (if any) and schedule a delivery date from three (3) days in advance to a week’s time. For any other requests or changes to the indicative delivery date stated during the order, please call our customer representative at least (3) days in advance to inform.

Customer is solely responsible to ensure that the purchased products can fit into a location of choice and can be reasonably delivered through all external points, entrances, lift access and doorway. In the event that accessibility causes the delivery to be unsuccessful, the order will then be cancelled and a 35% restocking fee will apply.

The price of delivery services included in the stated order covers standard lift-access delivery and assembly but does not include disposal services. Any disposal request have to be made at the point of ordering and quoted charges apply. Otherwise, your delivery may be delayed and rescheduled at additional costs.

Staircase charges applies to non-lift accessible locations, including indoor staircases of landed property. Additional fee of $20 per item per floor will be chargeable and payable to the delivery carrier. Non-payment may result in failure of delivery at customer cost.

Customer may reschedule delivery by giving at least 5 working days before the scheduled delivery date, subject to availability. For rescheduling of delivery within 5 working days, a fee of $80 will be imposed.

Receiving of Order

The customer or appointed representative is required to sign for the delivery at the agreed date and delivery address. In the event of missed delivery, additional charges of $80 per trip will be levied.

On delivery, customer or appointed recipient shall inspect the items carefully before our carrier leaves the premise. Any defects or damages detected must be notified immediately to us and noted on the delivery order copy. Our customer service team will investigate and reply within 3 working days. Otherwise, your signature will imply the products were received free from defect and accepted in good condition.

If the purchased products are not collected or delivered within one (1) month of “Ready for delivery” notified date, we shall be entitled to levy storage charges at $100 per item per month up to the date of final delivered date.

Validity of undelivered items is up to a maximum of 6 months from the “Ready for delivery” date. CODA. reserves the right to forfeit the purchase without refund.

Exchange and Returns

All payment made for our products are non-refundable, as they are custom made (Made-to-order) just for you.

Only for ready stock items, CODA. offers a 14-day return policy, provided they are unused in their original condition. All returns are subjected to a 35% restocking fee and delivery costs must be borne by customers.

Eligible products for exchange must be of equivalent or higher in value, otherwise no partial refund will be allowed.

Clearance and display items are strictly non-exchangeable or non-refundable.

Limited Warranty
-
CODA. warrants a 12 months limited warranty that covers structural manufacturing and material defect from the date of delivery. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of product that has a manufacturing defect that is not a result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristics of the material used. Sofa recliner mechanisms are covered for additional 12 months for parts, excluding labour.

In the event a product is deemed defective, CODA. will determine the mode of repair or replacement of parts, entirely on CODA. discretion.

This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) wrong use of cleaning methods or products, burns, cuts, scratches, tears, watermarks, or pet damage.

The maximum liability to you shall not exceed the amount received from you paid for a specific product.

Terms & Conditions

Contracts for the purchase of Products from CODA. shall be governed by the Law of Singapore. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such Contracts shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of The Republic of Singapore.

Privacy policy of CODA. forms part of these terms and you have agreed to abide by our Privacy policy found on coda.com.sg/privacy-policy. By providing your personal data to CODA., you consent to the collection, use, disclosure and transfer of your personal data for use by CODA.

This agreement contains the entire understanding of the parties and there are no other commitments, agreements, or understandings between the parties other than those expressly set forth herein. This agreement shall not be altered, waived, modified or amended except in writing signed by the parties hereto and notarized.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (“Force Majeure Event”), not limited to COVID-19 restrictions, lock-downs, shipping suspension and war alike.

CODA. reserves the right to amend the terms & conditions stated from time to time.
